NASPA NADOWLI-KALEO DISTRICT ORGANIZED A CLEAN-UP EXERCISE

  The National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) in the Nadowli Kaleo District organized a successful clean-up exercise in Kaleo on Saturday, September 20, 2025. The event was supported by the Nusoba-led Administration and the Hon DCE for NKD, Hon Mary Haruna. Students from both Kaleo and Nadowli participated in the exercise, demonstrating their commitment to community service despite their busy schedules.  Stakeholders coming from the Sanitation department, teachers, Zoomlion Officers community members, service personnel, Police, District National Service Director, and other departments from the Assembly also took part in the exercise.  The District Chief Executive Officer Hon. A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT CLAIMS 3 LIVES

  On September 16th, 2025 at around 11:20 am in Nadowli, A samyoung Vehicle moving from Jirapa to Techiman got into a fatal accident between an uncompleted fuel station in Nadowli along the Jirapa road close to a mechanic shop.  The Car with registration number AS-2684-16 had 18 passengers on board. 1 person who is a police officer going on a transfer was confirmed dead on the spot.  The remaining were rushed to the Nadowli District Hospital. Upon arrival at the Hospital, the medical Superintendent Doctor. Opoku confirmed two additional deaths bringing the told to 3 persons. The remaining 15 persons including kids are in a very critical condition at the Nadowli District Hospital receiving treatment.
