Volunteers For Anthony Mwinkaara Sumah Donate Essential Supplies to Nadowli-Kaleo District Hospital

Through their generous donations, the group aimed to provide much-needed consumables for the hospital as a way to ultimately contribute to improved healthcare outcomes for people of the district and beyond.  The collective effort led by this group resulted in substantial donations that will go a long way in supporting the Nadowli District Hospital's vital work. GRNMA Donates To a Member In Nadowli-Kaleo District Of The Upper West Region

  GRNMA Donating cheque to a member The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives’ Association (GRNMA) through its district branch in the Nadowli/Kaleo area has donated an amount of Six Thousand Ghana cedis to a member as fire disaster support. The member, Mr. Nicholas Papunaa unfortunately had his room razed down by fire on the 18th January 2023 while he was on duty in the hospital.  At the presentation of the cheque to the member, the Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Emmanuel Opoku-Amposah expressed gratitude to the President of the Association and the entire leadership of GRNMA for the very sound welfare policies they have in place for their members. Hon. Anthony M. Sumah Donates Beds to Two Health Facilities in Nadowli-Kaleo District

The Member of Parliament for Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency, Hon. Anthony Mwinekaara Sumah on Monday 16th January 2023 donates seven ultramodern beds comprising of five detention beds and two delivery beds to Chaan CHPS and Kaleo Immaculata Health Center.  Speaking at the handing over grounds, the Member of Parliament who was accompanied by the Nadowli-Kaleo NDC Constituency Chairman and other party executives, commended the administrations of the facilities for taking steps by calling for his intervention on the limitation of beds in the facilities which hinders quality health service delivery.   On November 7th, 2022 at the St. Joseph Hospital Jirapa, Greater Works Restoration Foundation put smiles in the faces of the poor in the Jirapa municipality. Greater works restoration foundation is a foundation for reconstructive surgeries in Ghana based in Kumasi and has been in exitance for about seven years. For the past seven years, greater work restoration foundation has been doing free surgery for the poor and vulnerable through out the country. On May 11, 2022 HeFRA (Health Facilities Regulatory Agency) went to the polls(this time around electronically, one can say e-polls) to elect its executives after the three year tenure of the old executives expired.  Brief history of HeFRA.  HeFRA ( Health Facilities Regulatory Agency were set by the Health Institutions and Facilities Act 2011(Act 829) . This organization/agency were set up to license facilities for the provision of public and private health care services. Per the Act that established HeFRa, [Act 829, Section 4(d)], HeFRA  "regulates and monitors activities of a practice to determine the adequacy and standard of health care provided". GRNMA RESCUES THEIR OWN AS THEY DONATE HEAVILY TO HELP THEM GET TREATED FROM ILLNESS.

  The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association has donated a cash amount of Sixty Five Thousand Ghana Cedis to three of their members to enable them go through their respective treatments. The three people have been sick and require huge amount of money for treatment. The presentations were made on behalf of the president of the Association, Madam Perpetual Ofori- Ampofo at different locations (Nadowli, Techiman and Kumasi) by the Regional and District Executives of the Association. Yesterday, the 11th of January, 2022, the Member of Parliament for Daffiama, Bussie, Issa constituency, Hon Sebastian Sandaare visited the site for the construction of agenda 111 district hospital located at Issa. He described his visit as part of his monitoring and fellow up roles to keep the government through the minister of health, commit to the project. Speaking to the media, he expressed his worry that the contractor has since not being on site even though the minister of health in his answer to a question he filed, did promise that the project was starting in earnest. He called on government to give special attention to the people of Daffiama, Bussie, Issa, explaining that it is a district without a district hospital, affecting health delivery. Background. DBI: MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT HANDS OVER BOREHOLES.

  The Member of Parliament for Daffiama, Bussie, Issa, Hon Sebastian Sandaare has handed over a number of boreholes to some communities in the constituency. The gesture, is the continuation of his "water for all" project that aims at providing portable drinking water to all in the Daffiama, Bussie, Issa Constituency. On the 10th of January, the people of Kanato, a farming community benefited from the project as the MP handed over a completed newly installed borehole to them. The people of Daffiama-Saaparee and Tuori Nuleekabon also had their shares respectively. Yesterday, 11th January, 2022, the people of Issa Tigni also had their share handed over to them. So far, about forty of such boreholes have been handed over to constituents since the beginning of the project in 2018.  Again, a number of old broken down boreholes in several communities are also being fixed to increase accessibility to portable water.

DBI: HOW HON SANDAARE TURNED HIS V8 INTO AN AMBULANCE TO SAVE A PREGNANT WOMAN

  It took the timely intervention of the Member of Parliament for Daffiama, Bussie, Issa Hon Dr Sebastian Sandaare to save a pregnant woman who was in a critical condition and this is how it happened. The MP went to Challa in the morning of Firday, 7th January, 2022 to meet a women group on their invitation. After meeting the group, he had a call to immediately come to the facility. On getting there, he was informed about a pregnant woman whose condition has become critical at the point of delivery.  In his smock, he quickly assessed, set line for some infusion and recommended immediate referral to the nearest hospital.  He further requested the midwife to call the ambulance. Sadly however, the ambulance service personnel lamented complete lack of fuel to render service to the woman.  The Ambulance Service personnel further requested that the husband of the expectant mother sends money via Momo to buy fuel at Issa to enable them come and pick the woman.  Havin...

The Member of Parliament for Daffiama, Bussie, Issa, Hon Sebastian Sandaare yesterday, 4th January, 2022 donated five HP laptops to the Daffiama, Bussie, Issa Health Directorate to improve data collection and E-health. This was made after the Directorate had made the request to enable them strengthen data collection and storage especially to facilitate the operations of the National Health Insurance Scheme.  Delivering the laptops to the staff, the Member of Parliament, thanked workers for their hard work and commitment and said the donation was to meet the request of the directorate. MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT ENCOURAGE CONSTITUENTS TO TAKE COVID VACCINES

  The member of parliament for the Dafffiama-Bussie-Issa constituency, Hon Dr Sebastian Sandaare has entreated his constituents and the general public to get vaccinated against the deadly covid-19 and continue to observe all the protocols. The law maker made this appeal when addressing the general assembly meeting of the Dafffiama-Bussie-Issa District national students union held on the 29th December, 2021. The medical doctor cum law maker said he has taken his jab some months ago and since has not seen any side effects of the covid-19 vaccines. "If it is that you will die or become importent, it will definitely happens, so the vaccines is safe and has no side effects", Hon Dr Sandaare added. He however entreated all to continue observing the protocols such as wearing the nose mask, social distancing, regular uses of hand sanitizer and many other measures been elaborated by the Ghana Health service. WHAT EXPLAINS THE "KIDNAPPED" TAKORADI "PREGNANT" WOMAN'S DRAMATIC BEHAVIOUR?

Predictably,  public reactions and counter reactions towards media reportage on the  alleged kidnapping story of the self acclaimed  pregnant Takoradi woman, Josephine Mensah have been chaotic in every passing day, making many observers  more worried and confused. As a concern citizen and Clinical Health Psychologist whose professional duty is to OBSERVE, PREDICT, and MODIFY deviant human behaviours, I wish to share my humble professional opinion on this endless controversial issue which currently gets everybody talking in a "direction less" fashion.  From where I sit, there are three things in the current ongoing debate that need to be determined namely PSEUDOCYESIS, MALINGERING or REALITY in terms of Josephine Mensah's pregnancy plus her kidnapping.   The Hon. Assembly Member for Bussie East, Hon. Evans Naa Gandiibu has donated a Street lamp to Bussie Health Center. The Assembly Member Hon. Gandiibu Naah Evans donated a Street lamp to Bussie Health Center to improve the lighting situation at the premises of the facility.  This follows earlier donation of roofing sheets to renovate Tandaaba G K class room.   The Member of Parliament for Daffiama, Bussie, Issa constituency, Hon Sebastian Sandaare has donated 100 bags of cement to support the construction of a maternity ward at the Jimpensi CHPS.  The community made the appeal to him during the campaign period to support them to have "extra space" as their maternity ward. The facility currently do not have enough space to be used for that purpose. The community there commenced taken the initiative the project and got to a stage before making the appeal to their Member of Parliament to help them complete it.
