 It is a long piece but it will worth your time. Building a personal brand is more important now than ever before, as the world switches to gig economy and so much of our work is turning freelance. We need to be able to define ourselves and sell ourselves, and that all begins with a personal brand.  What is a Brand? There’s a lot of misconceptions as to what “brand” means. It’s not a logo, it’s not a jingle. It’s not a slogan or a catchphrase. A brand is defined as the sum total of all the impressions that people has of you. BEKWAI CONSTITUENCY NPP ELECTIONS: MANY SURPRISES AS CRITICAL THINKERS INTERNATIONAL TIPS OPOKU DUAH EUGENE TO WIN

  Ahead of the Bekwai Constituency New Partriotic Party elections slated for later the last week of April 2022, the Critical Thinkers International, a credible research institute has updated its research findings conducted between 7th to 14th of April, 2022. In the updated findings, there has been quite a number of turnarounds and surprises emerging from the recent research conducted between 19th to 22nd April. This time, Critical Thinkers International extended its findings from the earlier fifteen (15) electoral areas to twenty-four (24) electoral areas out of the established thirty-four (34) electoral areas in the constituency. Five hundred and twenty-seven (527) delegates were involved from across the stipulated number of electoral areas. It is instructive to note that the few days left before the elections can still turn events around if hard work are put in by some candidates, especially candidates with close margin of percentages. NDC Organizer in Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Buries Mother.

The organizer of the National Democratic Congress,  Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency in the Upper West Region, Comrade Boye Philip has today buried his mother in grand style. The funeral ground turned into a serious political environment as many political gurus across the political divide stormed there to console with the family. The NDC regional Chairman, Chairman Bunas, the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon Sebastian Sandaare, Constituency and branch executives were present to offer their solidarity. Apparently, some members of the party who are hopefuls in the upcoming NDC internal elections were seen marketing themselves in one way or the other to party folks.  Some Members of the New Patriotic Party were also present, many of them displaying posters of candidates of their constituency elections on their vehicles. The funeral ground was indeed politically charged.

PAC Public Hearing Ends In Tamale

  A five-day Public Hearing of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has ended in Tamale after considering the Auditor-General’s Report on the Pre-University Educational Institutions in the Upper East and Upper West Regions. Considering similar infractions in most of the Senior High Schools relating to distribution of essential foods, the Chairman of the Committee urged the Auditor-General to do Performance Audit at the National Buffer Stock to help address issues of quality and quantity of foods to schools. He was of the view that the Performance Audit might help solve the problem of Heads of Institutions not having copies of contracts issued for the distribution of items to various schools. Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, also charged Heads of institutions to feed the students with foods and items received from the Buffer Stock, rather than storing the foods to go waste. Whilst Muslims are in the Holy Month of Ramadan, observing their fasting, engaging in vigorous prayers, both day and night, in other to earn the forgiveness, blessings and mercies of Almighty Allah our Christian brothers and Sisters recently observed their Easter celebrations to mark the crucifixion of their Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Various Churches, Prayer points were occupied day and night as part of observing this important day.  We Pray that, at the end of this Holy month coupled with our Easter celebration, we would be refined citizens both within the youth front through to the highest level of leadership, to at least touch the hearts of our leaders to exhibit sympathy, truthfulness and make the best of decisions for our Country. OPINION POLLS ON BEKWAI CONSTITUENCY NPP ELECTIONS BY CRITICAL THINKERS INTERNATIONAL

  The Critical Thinkers International (CTI) research team decided to embark on a research in the Bekwai Constituency New Partriotic Party elections for the Constituency Executive portfolios. This is as a result of the brouhaha surrounding this year's Constituency Elections which is being keenly contested. The research work is put together based on the findings from our men on the grounds spread across the constituency from the 7th of April to the 14th of April, 2022. Our research work emerges from fifteen (15) Electoral Areas selected from across the constituency.  It, however, must be noted that the research findings, barring any last minute changes, will be the exact records from the constituency. There Is Much We can Do Tegother- Hon Sebastian Sandaare to Fian Community

The Member of Parliament for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa has commended the people of Fian for establishing for themselves, a traditional festival to protect their rush culture and traditions. In a short statement that was delivered on his behalf, by the NDC communication Officer for Daffiama, Bussie, Issa, Denis Andaban, he applauded the community for always creating the opportunity to unite for development, citing the several community help projects ongoing in the community. He pledged his continuous commitment and support to help the community develop.  The NDC mouthpiece in the area, emphasised that the Member of Parkiament will always be part of such development projects, saying "it is unfortunate our MP is not here himself today, but he extends his solidarity and congratulate us for this great move." He promised that the Member of Parliament will be part of next years' event.  The MP also donated a cash amount of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis to support the program.

DBI: The People of Fian Launched A new Traditional Festival.

  The people of Fian, in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa district in the Upper West Region, yesterday celebrated a maiden traditional festival known as "Danzena Kulugri" festival.  The newly instituted festival is the initiative of the chief of the area, Fian -Naa Bambieu Baping and his elders, to protect the history, values and tradition of the community and to use same as vehicle of community development.  Hundreds of sons and daughters gathered for the maiden event as the youth showcased their knowledge of the history of the community through drama. Various dancing groups also added to the euphoria of the celebration.  The community is known for its great tradition. The District Chief Executive of the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa, Hon Nadi Imoro Sanda, yesterday, graced the maiden Danzena Kulugri festival instituted the Chief and elders of Fian. Speaking at the occasion, he thanked the people for the innovative approach they have adopted to protect its customs and traditions and urged the community not to relent in making the festival a tool for development. He again urged  the people of DBI to take advantage of planting for food and jobs as we ready for the raining season, explaining that the youth in particular must take advantage and benefit from such politicies.  He did indicate that he has a lot of plans to helping the community catch up with development, emphasising that he would ensure that three unit classroom block is constructed to improve teaching and learning. UPDATES ON BUSSIE VOLLEY COURT CONSTRUCTION

You may recall that sometimes in 4th January, 2022, the Member of Parliament for Daffiama- Bussie- Issa, Hon Sebastian Sandaare cut a sod for the construction of a volleyball court in Bussie.  At the short ceremony, he donated 50bags of cement for the start of work.  The project which was initiated by the Volleyball team of Bussie started in earnest. Based on progress report, the MP has given an additional support of 35bags of cement, bringing the total number of cement he donated to 85bags.  Our checks show that the team and its leadership have been working assiduously to have the court completed. They provide their own labour and other things needed to complete the project. The Member of Parliament has reiterated his commitment to helping the team in diverse ways to make it a formidable team when the court is finally completed.   A known NDC financier cum businessman from the Upper West Region, Alhaji Adams Randy has once again donated one hundred and thirty bags of sugar to the NDC party in the region. The donation is his contribution to help party folks especially the Muslims who are in the season of ramadam to have a successful fasting period.  From the 130bags, each of the 11  constituencies has/or to receive 10 bags while the rest are to be shared among other groupings ad stakeholders of the party.   This is not the first time the party stalwart has supported the party. DBI: Member of Parliament Supports Samambo Community to Reconstruct Their Dam

The Member of Parliament for Daffiama--Bussie-Issa, Hon Sebastian Sandaare, has assisted the people of Samambo with an amount of five thousand (5,000) Ghana Cedis as his contribution to support a community help project, the reconstruction of its dam. The dam got washed off in August, 2021 and the community has since appealed to a number of stakeholders to help repair the dam.  To repair the severely damaged dam before the onset of another raining season, the community has taken it upon itself to mobilize funds to enable them hire a bulldozer, buy stones and organize labour to repair the dam. It is based on this request, the Member of Parliament, Hon Sebastian Sandaare has released the amount as his support for the project.   The Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin has referred three (3) Members of Parliament to the Privileges Committee for absenting themselves for fifteen (15) sitting days. In an official communication to the House today, the Speaker mentioned Hon. Sara Adwoa Safo ( MP Dome Kwabenya), Hon. Kennedy Agyapong (MP Assin Central ) and Hon. Henry Quartey ( MP Ayawaso Central) for absenting themselves for more fifteen sitting days within the First Meeting of the Second Session, per the records from the Clerks at Table.   Speaker Bagbin supported his ruling with article 97 (1)c of the Constitution which states that: “A member of Parliament shall vacate his seat in Parliament if he is absent, without the permission in writing to the Speaker and he is unable to offer a reasonable explanation to the Parliamentary Committee on Privileges from fifteen Sittings of a meeting of Parliament during any period that Parliament has been summoned to meet and continues to meet”, the Standing O...
