Image
The Member of Parliament for Lawra Constituency, Hon Bede Ziedeng has released an amount of Twenty One Ghana Cedis to repair a number of broken-down Boreholes in 23 communities. The gesture is part of his commitment to providing access to portable water in the Constituency. In recent times, he has commissioned numerous new boreholes across the Constituency.  The recent release will therefore widen the intervention to many other communities who are struggling in one way or the other because of lack of access to portable drinking water.

A Young Activist Demands Justice For Lawyer

Image
This is our Nation's Coat of Arms. To be simple, like a school's badge, the Ghana Coat of Arms is the badge of Ghana that identifies it. It also tells the motto, what it stands for. As we can see, the motto of Ghana FREEDOM AND JUSTICE is conspicuously written under the shield. Now, here are the points I want to make.  Honourable Lawyer Richard Badombie who was a true and law-abiding citizen of Ghana got robbed of his FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT [ RIGHT TO LIFE] in the course of exercising his FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT from Accra to Jirapa. From the motto on our Nation's Coat of Arms, what is left after he was denied his FREEDOM ? Not JUSTICE? Is JUSTICE automatic in this country? As concerned as we are as people of Jirapa and the Upper West Region and even beyond, how effective are we pushing for justice to be served? Are we playing to the gallery or we are really pushing hard to get justice for our slain son? Of course, I remember that this is the second case in one year that we ...

The Cyclical Excesses Of Political Bootlicking, The Case Of The Inner Politics of NPP

Image
Recently, some youth and journalists within the Otikokoosuo land were and are still insanely up and verbally armed to the teeth and went gun blazing against the akyem coterie leader(Nana Addo) govt for being an anti Ashantemane development govt.     But come to think of it, s3bi o, aren't these Ashanti guys ungrateful and therefore up painting Nana Addo govt black??   Because, the same NPP, that most, if not all unalloyed Ashantes spontaneously love inutro and forever vow to support till thy kingdom come has among its believes as A PROPERTY(IES) OWNING DEMOCRACY.   So, the question we(compos mentis homosapiens) must start asking these unrepentant NPP Ashantes is, how many of them ever bother to check or ask for the real meaning of PROPERTY(IES) OWNING DEMOCRACY??   Or they think PROPERTY OWNING mean PROPERTY(IES) to be owned by the majority? Big No, it simply meant, PROPERTY(IES) OWNED by the negligible minority in power!   So they should tame their ...

GREEN POCKETS(BANK ACCOUNTS) DAY DISGUISED AS GREEN GHANA DAY

Image
While they raise shoulders in Vietnam 3-piece suit, in insane opaque glasses and in your tax-printed t-shirts and caps and eloquently read, prolly plagiarised ear-itching speeches in purport of afforestation to gain your claps and shouts, their mysterious flying EXCAVATORS are out deep in our dotted forest doing the direct opposite, deforestation. When will most Ghanaians ever think straight, deep(critically) and in between the lines and talk loud without being sensured  like yesteryears?, Is a question for both the gods of the Achimota forest and "our independent fighters region"(eastern) where every good policy must be piloted before thinking of the other 15regions.    Did i hear you muttered, that, they will shamelessly do so when their most loathed/abhorred person(JM) and party(NDC) helms GHANA's affairs??   Well, it is said, that we only climb a tree to see what's going and not what's coming because, certainly what's coming will meet you standing. So, lets...

The Member of Parliament for the Lawra Constiturncy, Hon Bede Ziedeng has refuted claims that he has cited a borehole very close to a public toilet.  A statement released by the secretary of the MP clarify the issues by describing the spurious comments being shared through social media as " mischievous" and "ill-informed." Below is the released setting the records straight. "RE: HOW CAN YOU DRILL A BOREHOLE CLOSE TO A PUBLIC TOILET TO PRODUCE PURE WATER-A REJOINDER The attention of the office of the member of Parliament for Lawra has been drawn to the above comment which was posted on some social media platforms and in particular the Lawra fm platform. That comment is not only mischievous but also ill-informed. This office believes that the comment was intended to course disaffection for a project which is well intended. Now the facts: 1.The site of the borehole is nowhere near a public toilet. The so called public toilet is about 100metres away from the site o...
