THE MP FOR LAWRA COMMISSIONS THREE(3) MORE BOREHOLES

  


Yesterday, 17th June, 2022, the MP for Lawra Constituency, Hon. Lawyer Bede Ziedeng, together with Mr. Abdul Karim (Lawra Municipal Assembly coordinating Director) who is a representative of the MCE for Lawra at this ceremony, the Eremon Naa and his sub-chiefs, the Lawra Constituency NDC chairman, Mr. Joshua Lotaa, and party executives commissioned three fresh boreholes in the Lawra Constituency. The beneficiary communities include; Eremon-Danko, Eremon-Sorguon and Dowmine-Tansil. The MP secured these facilities from Direct Aid, Ghana. 

As a visionary leader , coupled with his passion to selflessly serve humanity, hon. Bede Ziedeng, has decided to impact positively on the lives of his constituents by providing his constituents with potable water. Water they say is life and it is his topmost priority among other things he intends to execute to ameliorate the sufferings of his dear constituents.

The idea of providing potable water for his constituents started way back in 2015/2016 before he emerged as the MP for Lawra Constituency in 2020. In 2016 as the parliamentary candidate for the Lawra Constituency, he drilled boreholes in the following communities in Lawra Constituency; Babile koroh Baagan, Brifoh Baapare, Tampie, Lissah, Eremon Naburnye, Lawra Tuori, Lawra Zinkaa and other communities. 

  On his 2016 and 2020 campaign trail as a parliamentary candidate then, the numerous appeals from his constituents to him about their dire need of potable water resonates with his earlier thought of providing potable water to his people as his number one priority.  God willing, the good people of Lawra gave him a mandate to serve them as their MP and his good works so far with regards to the provision of potable water to his people among other things is self-evident for all to see. 


In addition to  these three boreholes that he just commissioned, earlier this year, he commissioned three fresh boreholes in  the following communities in the Lawra Constituency ; Yagtuuri Vapuo, Zambo Tangpuori JHS,  and Zambo Hayion making a total of six(6) boreholes. 

Just two months ago, he  rehabilitated the water systems in Dowmine clinic and that of the Eremon Health Center. He has also decided to repair all broken down boreholes in the Lawra Constituency  whilst he works at providing fresh boreholes to communities that are bedeviled with water crisis. So far, Hon. Lawyer Bede Ziedeng  has repaired over thirty-seven(37) broken down boreholes in the Lawra constituency and the benefiaciaries communities include; Furo, Dikpe, Bagri, Tabier, Oribilli, Faalu, Kalsagri Tangpuori,, Tongoh Kangpuori, Tongoh Kangpuori No. 2, Tolibri, Tumah,Methor Buor, Brifoh Tanziiri, Brifoh Primary School, Brifoh Batan, Brifoh Biro, Brifoh Tangzu, Brifoh Mohmeh, Brifoh Maalbaa, Boo Naayir-two boreholes, Boo health center, Boo Kal, Domwine Tansil, Domwine Koh, Kunyukuo Zongo-two boreholes, Tanchara-two boreholes, Ko Susu, Kunyukuo Zion, Gbelinka, Tampie, Tanchara Doboziir etc.

Yesterday was a joyous day to the people of Eremon-Danko, Eremon-sorguon and Domwine Tansil, especially the women,  after the MP(Hon. Lawyer Bede Ziedeng) handed to them fresh boreholes. They showed their deepest appreciation to the MP for being a very reliable leader and prayed that the Lord Almighty should continue to bless hon. Bede with long life, prosperity and more widom so that he can touch many more lives in the Lawra constiuency. All they need in a leader is one that puts smiles on the faces of his subjects, and Hon. Lawyer Bede Ziedeng is one of such leaders. The women indicated that their usual hustle for potable water is now a thing of the past.

Lambussie Young Stars Volleyball Club Smashes Host Team to be Crowned Champions in Azumah Volleyball Tournament
