  A business mogul and party financier, Alhaji Adams Randy has successfully filed his nomination forms in readiness to run for the position of the Upper West Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress.  He was accompanied by a score of party supporters coming from different parts of the region, with majority being the party youth. Speaking to the media after the filing of the nomination forms, he promised the rank and file of the party that he will engage in politics of issues, having in mind that the party needs to be solidly united after the internal contest.   The Member of Parliament for the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency, Hon Sebastian Sandaare has challenged candidates in his constituency to produce one of the best results in the Upper West Region, in the upcoming Basic Education certificate Examination.
