SAMSON ABU CONGRATULATES ALL NDC LAWRA CONSTITUENCY NEWLY EXECUTIVES ELECT
I send warm felicitations to all and sundry in the Lawra Constituency. I am trusting that, everyone is doing well, notwithstanding, the untold excruciating hardships visited on us by the New Patriotic Party and its government. Fret not, new dawn is fast approaching to cover this darkness forever. Amen.
Yesterday marked, yet another quadrennial reorganization of our beloved great NDC Party in Lawra Constituency, and by extension, throughout the entire nation. Undoubtedly, the Lawra Constituency, rose to the occasion again with unblemished distinction, regardless of the initial surmountable shortcomings. We, the NDC in the Lawra Constituency, rose to the occasion with absolute distinction because the entire process was serene, competitive, fair, transparent, reassuring of annexing power come 2024, and a rejuvenation of the umbrella spirit.
The enthusiasm, energy, resources, and time that, both old and young, invested in this reorganization right from the Branches to the Constituency level are simply amazing, remarkable and commendable. And that also clearly gave a sense of the NDC, not in readiness at all to settle for anything less than victory in the 2024 general elections. This, I say, kudos to every comrade, especially, our evergreen Branch and Zonal Executives, the hardworking Contestants, the Election Directors, the EC, the MP, Former Appointees, and Party Elders for making the journey a successful one.
Indeed, our evergreen Branch and Zonal Executives spoke loudly, and clearly, relative to who leads where and who becomes what, and needless to say that, we are all going to respect that decision of the Branch and Zonal Executives as it stands now, unless otherwise decided again. But as an all-inclusive family, I would say, that we do not have losers nor winners but rather, the NDC, as a political party had won, and it won so bigly.
So, now is the opportune time for all of us to hold hands together, and marshall all our forces, strengths, resources, and ideas at our disposal to achieve the party's biggest goal - which obviously is to wrestle power from the completely clueless and inept NPP government come 2024.
So, inasmuch as I heartily congratulate our new Constituency Leaders elect, I equally send my warmest congratulations to every contestant for putting h/her best foot in seeking to serve the NDC party. The NDC is a big family and thus, have space and work for each and every one of us, so I would humbly beg to use this rare opportunity to urge every one, more especially, the unsuccessful contestants, to let bygones be bygones and immediately reunite for us to collectively fight our common enemy - the NPP. This was an internal contest and we should never allow or create any room for bickering. Let us all rally behind the Party, standing firm to annex power come December 2024. I am always available to listen to each and every one of you, especially, those with grievances and I pledge to do my best possible to bring some solutions to your grievances. Knock at my doors and let us have a chat as brothers and sisters under the umbrella. The sun would definitely rise again, and the NDC shall win again, and the people of Ghana shall laugh again.
Thank you so very much!
Viva Ghana!
Viva Lawra!!
Viva NDC!!!
