Hon. Denis Andaban Yelinbangniba retains seat as NDC Communication Officer for DBI

Hon. Denis Andaban Yelinbangniba who popularly goes by the name "Village Boy From DBI" has retained his seat as the communication officer for the Umbrella Fraternity, NDC of the Daffiama Bussie Issa, (DBI) Constituency after he went unopposed in the 2022 NDC constituency executive elections. 

The communicator who is endowed with oratory is known in the Upper West Region for his communication prowess. Not only does he communicate based on facts, he is known as one of the few communicators who does not believe in insults as far as political communication is concerned. 


He has served the National Democratic Congress, NDC as a leader in numerous sectors and at different levels. To start with, Hon. Denis was the Public Relations Officer of the Tertiary Education Institution Network (TEIN) of NDC in the University of Education Winneba - Kumasi campus in 2016 and later became the president for TEIN in same university in 2017. 

Village Boy also became the deputy communication officer for DBI from 2014 to 2018 and became substantive in 2018.

Not only did he serve the NDC fraternity, he also served UEW - K as a Speaker and a student judge of the Students Representative Council, (SRC) judicial council.

He has worked tirelessly for his party in DBI constituency, the Upper West Region and the country at large. Under his leadership as the communication officer, the NDC won the parliamentary seat in DBI. One is right to conclude that, his achievements in the party resulted to his victory in the just ended constituency executive elections.
