SPEAKER BAGBIN SUPPORTS CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT AND CONTINUITY

The Rt. Hon. Alban S.K Bagbin, Speaker of the 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic has made a cash donation of Fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghc50,000.00) to the Chiefs and people of the Upper West Region through the Center for National Culture (CNC) in support of efforts being made to revive the cherished culture and traditions of the people. He made this donation during the climax of the Upper West Cultural Week Celebration which came off yesterday at the Jubilee Park in Wa, through a delegation of staff from his office. The Upper West Regional office of the CNC is currently preparing a team to participate in the National Competition of Traditional Dance and Culture at Cape Coast next month.

NADOWLI SPRING FINGERS WINS AZUMAH RESOURCES' ANNUAL VOLLEYBALL GALLA

  The Spring Fingers, a renowned volleyball team  situated in the capital of the Nadowli-Kaleo has proven its worth and supremacy, by emerging as the champions of the 2022 regional volleyball competition, organized and sponsored by Azumah Resources Ghana Limited, a gold exploration company based in the Nadowli-Kaleo District.  The Spring Fingers beat their major rivals, Wa Supreme Fingers to hold the bragging right of being the best volleyball club for the year.  A total of 8 teams participated in the 3rd edition. Last year, the Nadowli Spring Fingers Qualified for finals but could not annex the supremacy. He loss to Wa City Stars.  The two day tournament had the massive support of volleyball lovers across the region, the management and staff of Azumah Resources, the District Assembly,  Chiefs and Elders of Nadowli, Assembly Members, the media and the Clergy. GREATER WORK FOUNDATION SAVES LIVES IN JIRAPA

  On November 7th, 2022 at the St. Joseph Hospital Jirapa, Greater Works Restoration Foundation put smiles in the faces of the poor in the Jirapa municipality. Greater works restoration foundation is a foundation for reconstructive surgeries in Ghana based in Kumasi and has been in exitance for about seven years. For the past seven years, greater work restoration foundation has been doing free surgery for the poor and vulnerable through out the country. The Non Profitable Organization is into so many services. They come to the aid of children's born with all kinds of deformities, deformities through accident, burns, cleft lip, cleft palate breast reconstruction and many more.
