NADOWLI SPRING FINGERS WINS AZUMAH RESOURCES' ANNUAL VOLLEYBALL GALLA

 




The Spring Fingers, a renowned volleyball team  situated in the capital of the Nadowli-Kaleo has proven its worth and supremacy, by emerging as the champions of the 2022 regional volleyball competition, organized and sponsored by Azumah Resources Ghana Limited, a gold exploration company based in the Nadowli-Kaleo District. 


The Spring Fingers beat their major rivals, Wa Supreme Fingers to hold the bragging right of being the best volleyball club for the year. 


A total of 8 teams participated in the 3rd edition. Last year, the Nadowli Spring Fingers Qualified for finals but could not annex the supremacy. He loss to Wa City Stars. 


The two day tournament had the massive support of volleyball lovers across the region, the management and staff of Azumah Resources, the District Assembly,  Chiefs and Elders of Nadowli, Assembly Members, the media and the Clergy.


Below is the detail of the results of the competition and awards thereof.


A total of 8 teams participated in the 3rd edition of the Azumah resources Gh. Ltd volleyball tournament-2022.

Below are the order of and positions of the teams at the end of the tournament.


1.Nadowli Spring fingers 

2. Wa Supreme fingers 

3. Wa City stars

4. Wa Mighty fingers 

5. Lawra Infinite Mercies

6. Lambussie town team 

7. Jirapa Hoppers

8. Bussie Hitters.


Best coach of the tournament is Moses Sumbobo from Nadowli Spring Fingers. He received a cash prize of 100gh.



Best player Mohammed Mantani Yakubu of Nadowli Spring fingers. He received a cash price of 100gh.

Most disciplined team of tournament went to Bussie Hitters and they received a cash price of 150gh.


1st placed team of Tournament is Nadowli Spring fingers.

- a set of jersey 

-Trophy

- Gold medals and a certificate for participation.


2nd placed team went to Wa Supreme fingers and they won,

-silver medals 

-a cash prize of 200gh and a certificate for participation.



3rd placed team went to Wa City stars and they got

-a set of white socks and a certificate of participation.


All other teams received a certificate for participation.

Lambussie Young Stars Volleyball Club Smashes Host Team to be Crowned Champions in Azumah Volleyball Tournament
