DBI: MP ENGAGES IN COMMUNITY VISITATION, INSPECT ONGOING PROJECT IN ISSA.

  The Member of Parliament for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency, Hon Sebastian Sandaare visited a number of communities to listen to some stakeholders on their current challenges.  His first call was Bussie (Santaayiri and Neereeyiri). He was given an urgent invitation by the youth in those sections of Bussie, to come and have an eye witness narrative of the struggle of the people for portable drinking water. The MP responded to the distressed call and what he saw for himself, struck him down. The two old wells the people have been drawing water from, were virtually out of water, leaving the women helpless. Hon. Anthony M. Sumah Donates Beds to Two Health Facilities in Nadowli-Kaleo District

The Member of Parliament for Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency, Hon. Anthony Mwinekaara Sumah on Monday 16th January 2023 donates seven ultramodern beds comprising of five detention beds and two delivery beds to Chaan CHPS and Kaleo Immaculata Health Center.  Speaking at the handing over grounds, the Member of Parliament who was accompanied by the Nadowli-Kaleo NDC Constituency Chairman and other party executives, commended the administrations of the facilities for taking steps by calling for his intervention on the limitation of beds in the facilities which hinders quality health service delivery. He added that, the donation is a fulfillment of his commitment to provide beds for the two health facilities in order to ensure quality health service delivery. U/W: 10 young entrepreneurs received funds from Igniting Dreams Program.

  The 5th edition of the Igniting Dreams was held in Wa at Sem-B Logde in the Upper West Region on the 7th of January 2023. 10 young entrepreneurs across all the 5 regions within the Northern belt were granted seed capitals and business development training to enable them scale up their business ventures.   This year's program organised by the Coalition for Positive Impact (CPI) was under the theme"Wealth creation in the 21st Century", the program brought over 300 youth for education and mentorship on the said theme. AmiShea company Ltd, a Savannah regional based business ventures who is into processes Shea into soap, butter and briquettes won Gold Prize of Ghc 10,000 in the Igniting Dreams Pitch contest. UniDev and Royal Avielle Ventures also won silver and bronze worth of Ghc 7000 and Ghc 5000 respectively. IT Hub emerged as the third runner-up and took home Ghc 3000. Nadowli-Kaleo District Assembly Bridges Insufficient Furniture Gap Among Schools In The District

  Nadowli-Kaleo District Assembly on Tuesday 10, 2023 hands over furniture to Nadowli-Kaleo District Education Service as a measure to bridge the insufficient furniture gap among schools in the district. The Nadowli-Kaleo District Education Service received from the assembly a total of 1,300 furniture comprising of 600 dual desks, 600 chairs and 100 hexagonal tables for 9 newly constructed basic schools and kindergartens across the district. Speakings at the handing over gathering, the Nadowli-Kaleo District Chief Executive, Hon. Katherine Lankono who did the handing over says, there has been a problem of schools not having sufficient furniture since she assumed office in 2017, but she has been working hard to fix that problem in the district by donating great numbers of furniture to schools across the district every year and 2023 is not an exception. Hon. Sebastian Sandaare Donates to Support The Building of a Maternity Block at Wogu

  The member of Parliament for Daffiama Bussie Issa (DBI) Constituency, Hon. Dr. Sebastian Sandaare on 31st December 2022, at an annual durbar of Wogu Development Association (WODA) donates a cheque of Gh¢10,000.00 to the Wogu community towards the building of a maternity block and Gh¢1000.00 to support the activities of the association. Wogu, a community in the Daffiama Bussie Issa District, initiated the building of a maternity block for the CHPS compound in Wogu as part of the efforts of the community to promote quality health care in the community. Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Sandaare commended the Honourable Assembly member of the Wogu electoral area, Hon.
