  Inspection on ongoing Member of Parliament for Daffiama Bussie Issa Constituency, Hon. Dr. Sebastian Sandaare on Saturday, 20th May, 2023 visited some ongoing projects in his constituency to see progress of work done.  Hon. Sandaare visited the Bussie Maternity block, a community self initiated  project of which he is supporting. The block has been roofed awaiting other fixes. The Member of Parliament expressed his pleasure with the quality of work on the project and therefore promised to support with resources to have the project completed timely.  Meanwhile, A member of the entourage, Mr. Seidu Yonye who hails from Bussie also made a personal pledge of 100 bags to support the ongoing project.   The District Chief Executive (D.C.E) for Nadowli-Kaleo District, Hon. Catherine Lankono has on Thursday, 11 May, 2023 commissioned a CHPs facility for Da, a suburb of Nadowli in the Nadowli-Kaleo district of the Upper West Region. According to sources gathered by StraightNewsGh the community was using a teachers' quarters as the health facility but has now gotten a facility which includes living rooms for health workers of the community. Speaking at the handing over ceremony, the Nadowli-Kaleo District Health Director, Ms Phoebe Balagmum applauded Da community for the communal service towards the development of the community. She cautioned that the CHPs facility should not be considered as a small facility, however, the community members should still note that the CHPs facility does not have the mandate to administer certain medications, hence, severe cases would be handled at the district hospital in accordance with their health rules.   The Nadowli-Kaleo District Assembly, through the Disability Common Fund (DCF) Program, which is geared towards alleviating poverty among Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) in Ghana has on Thursday May 11, 2023 donated items to some PWDs in the district. Six individuals, comprising of three males and three females benefited from the donation  and the items donated includes two fridges and four sowing machines of which two of the sowing machines are for males and two for females.
