NPP Youth Activist Sends Message Of Displeasure To His Party's Big Wings.

It has come to our realization that some big wings in our dear party, New Patriotic Party (NPP) are intimidating party executives to follow a particular candidate of their choice come this flagbearer election 2023 November. We the grass roots are sounding a clear warning to them that, they cannot change the party's constitution, and they cannot force anybody in the party to do what he or she is not willing to do. So for that matter they should allow every individual or person who is an executive or delegate to make his or her choice of candidate.

 On this note, before I proceed with my article, I will like to quote exactly what our party's constitution state without leaving a word. "The New Patriotic Party is a party that stands to liberate the energies of the people for growth of a property- owning democracy in this land, with right to life, freedom and Justice as the principle to which the Government and laws of the land should be dedicated in order specially to enrich life, property and liberty of each and every citizens".

So with this description of our party's constitution, where do we See intimidation, abuse of freedom and rights, abuse of our Justice and the right of choices? So I humbly ask my dear big wings who call themselves "northers", why should they be abusing our rights and freedom of electing a candidate of our choice, why should they be inciting as against other candidates by saying if we do not Support their candidate they will make sure we don't get any support from our own national cake.

 Permit me to express this, I personally don't really understand the kind of interest they are exhibiting here. Whether it is developmental or parochial, because it seems to me as an individual outside the group as a parochial form of interest because they have their own devilish interest that is why there is this lot of sell-out and intimidations. But mind you Mr. big Wings, it’s not going to work out for you and this is the reason.

We the grass roots know who to decide on, know who can take us to the promise land, Know who can represent us to break the (8) and also Know who we have decided on. So enough of all this intimidation, sell-out and blackmailing. We the grass root want to ask these men who think they are the big wings in NPP in the Upper West region some few questions, because it is So worrying to See a respected man being manipulated by food and some material things. I must apologize for using certain words on my fellow patriots, but it’s so painful to a matured man as I am for somebody to come and make decisions and choices for me to follow. This is because as a grass root I can say I know better than you Tink-Tanker big wings and I mean it.

To start with my questions,

1. Do you the big wings who are proposing that we should follow only a particular one candidate, feel what we the grass root, polling station executives are feeling, if yes answer, if no Same.

2. Hon. big wings, do you always come to Support us with door to door Campaign during general elections?

3. That your intended candidate, how many youth has he/she helped in our region, preferable my Constituency NKC.

4. The grieve and pains of the Northern politics and how forgetfulness we are as a brand ,now a member has to sell out another member for gains. It is a shame to us as a constituency that has suddenly forgotten who led them to victory when they were in a quest for power. Some have now become hypocrites , love for money and unlastful materials have deceived many to now challenge the head that made them lions today it is a pity (where is the loyalty)

5. We should always know that karma don't give excuses before we take steps they shall be a time when some people too will take over power, but power is temporary remember that.

So without wasting much time. I will say we should stop politics of Vindictiveness and intimidations and allow the people to make their choices, so that we can have a free, transparent and fair election, on election that will not bring division but an election that will bring togetherness, so that we will be able to break the eight (8). Thank you.
