Prof. Titus K. He made this announcement at the Piina church on Sunday, October 27, 2024, during a visit by former NDC executives from the region to promote the party's agenda. As a former National Secretary of the Ghana Medical Association, Prof. Beyuo understands the importance of quality healthcare in the constituency. In fact, he has advocated for more health facilities to be built in the area, which currently has only one polyclinic serving over 50,000 people. This scarcity of healthcare facilities has resulted in pregnant women having to travel to neighboring districts for caesarean operations. Prof. Beyuo's commitment to improving healthcare in Lambussie Constituency aligns with the NDC's policy proposals, which pr...

NDC FORMER REGIONAL EXECUTIVES TOUR DBI CONSTITUENCY, CANVASS FOR VOTES...

Image
Former Regional Executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper West Region have taken a bold step to support the DBI to spread the good message of the NDC. In a pioneering move, they have formed a coalition to propagate the party's message, moving door-to-door to educate voters to reduce spoiled ballots in the upcoming December 7th elections. Their efforts focus on empowering citizens, particularly in rural communities such as Tabiasi, Daffiama, Owlo, and Bouyiri. This grassroots approach aims to increase voter awareness and encourage informed decision-making. The coalition's initiative is significant, as it challenges the common perception that former party executives often disengage from active politics after their term expires. By re-engaging and mobilizing support, they demonstrate a commitment to the NDC's vision and values. This proactive strategy may influence the election's outcome, considering the Upper West Region's crucial role in Gha...

Hon. Nestor Mwinterebo writes on Nadowli/Kaleo DRIP Machines brouhaha

Image
I must applaud central government on the DRIP project initiative. There is no doubt that it will make greater impact in our road sector and one of the best forms of decentralization every assembly member appreciates. It is a fact that, these machines were procured by central government through the ministry of local government and decentralization. Assembly members' motor bikes are procured through same structures, the MPs V8, the MMDCEs vehicles and many other machines were procured through same means and were not branded any party colour. This is not the first time we are seeing such machines from central government. My Hon. DCEs office and bangalow is not branded party colours neither the MPs office is branded party colours. Why are we pasting posters of party colours and parliamentary candidates on our machines? I am therefore calling on the Hon. Mp, Anthony Mwinkaara Sumah and all sympathizers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the NPP parliamentray candidate, Francis X...

2024 ELECTION NKC: NPP & NDC PARTY POSTERS SPOTTED ON DRIP MACHINES

Image
The Drip Machine initiative in Nadowli Kaleo District has taken an interesting turn. Initially, the machines were spotted with flyers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate and presidential candidate, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia. However, it's now emerged that both NPP and National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters have plastered the machines with their party posters. This development has sparked debate, with some seeing it as a form of advertising and campaigning, while others consider it unnecessary and distracting from the machine's purpose ¹. The Drip Machine initiative aims to empower local authorities to maintain roads, improving Ghana's infrastructure and fostering economic growth. In Ghanaian politics, party colors and symbols are crucial for identification. The NPP's red, white, and blue, and the NDC's colors, are recognizable and synonymous with their ideologies. However, the question remains whether pasting party flyers on the Drip Ma...
