2024 ELECTION NKC: NPP & NDC PARTY POSTERS SPOTTED ON DRIP MACHINES




The Drip Machine initiative in Nadowli Kaleo District has taken an interesting turn. Initially, the machines were spotted with flyers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate and presidential candidate, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia. However, it's now emerged that both NPP and National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters have plastered the machines with their party posters.


This development has sparked debate, with some seeing it as a form of advertising and campaigning, while others consider it unnecessary and distracting from the machine's purpose ¹. The Drip Machine initiative aims to empower local authorities to maintain roads, improving Ghana's infrastructure and fostering economic growth.



In Ghanaian politics, party colors and symbols are crucial for identification. The NPP's red, white, and blue, and the NDC's colors, are recognizable and synonymous with their ideologies. However, the question remains whether pasting party flyers on the Drip Machine is necessary.

Lambussie Young Stars Volleyball Club Smashes Host Team to be Crowned Champions in Azumah Volleyball Tournament
