Read below the full statement.
"Yesterday, I was at the premises of the Nadowli/Kaleo District Assembly to give optimum endorsement to the #GreenGhana project in my beloved constituency.
If for nothing at all, the threat of desertification and the continuous depletion of economic trees such as rose and Shea are matters of concern that need urgent attention. I stressed the need for a sustained effort at fighting back these two cankers. I had the privilege to plant three rose wood trees just behind the District Assembly Offices.
I pledged my unwavering support and indeed commended the minister for lands and natural resources, Samuel A. Jinapor for his particular interest and seriousness to this particular project. I will do my very best as MP to ensure that the #GreenGhana project in my constituency becomes a success and not just a one day wonder.
Present at the event were the District Coordinating director and some department heads in the District.
Together, let us #GreenNadowliKaleo !"
