The Upper West Student's Union (UWESU) in the University of Education Winneba has been hit with sad news as they lost their chief patron Prof. Henry K. Pufaa who is also a professor and a lecturer in the University.

Prof. Pufaa as usually called is from Nandom in the Upper West Region and a lecturer at the HUPERS department in the University of Education Winneba.

He died on the 4th of June, 2021 after a short illness.

His demise has thrown members of the Upper West Student's Union as well as the University community into a deep regret. He served as patron for the union for many years. He left behind a wife and children whose number has not been captured.

May his soul rest in peace.
