NDC Calls on Ghanaians to Participate Fully in Census

 


The National Democratic Congress has called on Ghanaians to partake in the ongoing National Population and Housing Census. 

In a statement signed by the General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the exercise has not received much attention and that publicity has been poor culminating to non participation by many Ghanaians. This he believes can affect the credibility of the data that would be compiled.

The party is therefore calling on Ghanaians to show interest in the exercise as it is significant for policy decisions.

The Unit of Nadowli District Hospital organised a dinner and awards ceremony to recognise the outstanding contributions of its staff members. DCE Donates to Fian KG & Primary, Breaks Ground for New Block

The District Chief Executive for Daffiama, Bussie, Issa,  Hon. James Wor , has distributed school uniforms and learning materials to students of Fian KG and Primary School as part of his efforts to support education in the district. The donation was made during a visit to the school, where he emphasized the importance of education and encouraged the students to take their studies seriously, noting that their future depends on their current efforts. The distribution was a sideline activity of a sod-cutting ceremony for a new KG block, a project initiated by the DCE to address the school's pressing need for more space. According to the DCE, the current KG facility is congested, and the new block is expected to provide a more conducive learning environment for the increasing number of students.
