OBED WINS AMMUSTED MOST STRONGEST, 2021

 

The event took place at the school car park of Aamusted on Thursday July 22nd 2021. Among other strong men were nine contestants to compete for this year's event. The event was proudly sponsored by kind courtesy of Aamusted SRC in collaboration with Pent Clinic, Star 103.5fm, Jungle energy drink and Bouncer's with Degree's Strongest 

The car park was full to capacity with students numbering over 1000 to witness the occasion.

The gallant contestants were poised and ready for balloting. Below is the list of Contestants in an order of balloting.

1. Acheampong Samuel of stage name Bleckson management level 100.

2. Obed Makumator of stage name Makaueli I T level 300.

3. Godfred Osie kojo construction level 200 

4. Ishaq Ibrahim Junior of stage name Sparta management level 300

5 Patrick Kumah of stage name Spider English level 200.

6. Adu Sarfo Albert of stage T I (True Image) Construction level 200

7. Abdulai Aminu Mohammed of stage Amingo English level 300

8. Ankrah Yaw Melchizadek of stage name Ice Tee (Ronnie Coleman) 

9. Bright Poku Osei Assitey of stage name Commader Construction level 200.

The competition was in five sessions as follows; Bench Press, Squat, Dead lift, Tire Flip and Car push with the Tire on it. 

Among the nine contestants, three persons couldn't make it to the second stage of the bench press after they could not lift a weight of 140kg. Acheampong, Albert & Aminu. The second stage of bench press continued with a weight of 160kg of which Yaw Ankrah was able to press five 5 times, Obed 3 times and Bright could manage to press once and the rest couldn't make it up to a single press Godfred, Patrick & Ibrahim. 

The Second session followed up for contestants to squat to a level of 90° within the knee with a weight of 170kg were Obed was able to squat 8 times Godfred 11, Sarfo 5, Ankrah 14 and the rest scored zero with no points. 

The third session was a Dead lift of weight 200kg were the tide was between Obed and Ankrah of 9 & 5 respectively. And the other contestants scored zero with no points. 

The competition became interesting for all the contestants to flip a tire to a particular distance within 1 minutes of time of which the audience focus were on Oded and Ankrah because the two were topping in the competition. To our surprise Oded could flip the tire to the said distance 14 times within 1 minute and Ankrah 9 times within 1 minutes. 

The last session for Aamusted most strongest was to Push a Toyota Takoma with the Flipped tire inside it and yet Obed made a push within 10 seconds to a said distance for which all the contestant pass through & Ankrah pushed it 13 seconds within the said distance. Medals were given to all contestants for participating 

At the end of the competition, Obed Makumator of stage name Makaueli whose weight is 105kg and height 6.3ft became the ultimate winner for Aamusted Most Strongest 21 with a trophy, gold medal and a cache of 1000 gh. Ankrah Yaw Melchizadek of stage name Ice Tee (Ronnie Coleman) Accounting level 400 of weight 87kg & height 5.3ft became second with a silver medal and a cache of 800 gh. 

Bright Poku Osie Assitey of stage name commander construction level 200 of weight 83kg & height 5ft was third on the competition with a bronze medal and a cache amount of 600 gh

It was declared that Obed Makaueli of stage name won it for the second time in UEW KUMASI CAMPUS NOW AAMUSTED.
