HONOURABLE CLETUS SEIDU DAPILAH HANDS OVER CLINIC TO BAAZU AND SURRONDING COMMUNITIES

 



With just eight months in office as Member of Parliament, Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah has continued where he stopped as DCE. He  continues to invest in health sector in the Jirapa Municipality for quality health care delivery for his people. In deed, this cements the saying that health is wealth.


Today, the people of Baazu are grateful as the MP. Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah hands over a health facility to them. This facility is to help provide health care delivery at the door steps of the people of Baazu and other communities.


It would help reduce the burden of travelling over long distance to the main health facility in Jirapa to attend to basic health problems.


In a brief speech by the MP, he encouraged the people of Baazu to report early for treatment at the facility to avoid complications. He said " sound health is the principal need of the  people before any kind of empowerment". 


 According to him, the facility would serve neighboring communities around Baazu like Talagono, Gaapare, Saabaalong, Moyiri, Guri ,Siiri, Simbi and so on.


He added that there are still plans in the pipeline to get more of such facilities to cover the entire Municipal.


The Health Director, Madam Florence Angsomwine thanked the MP for his support to providing the health facility in the Municipal. Like Oliver Twist, she asked for more of such interesting development. She assured a midwife and other health officials would be available at the facility at all times for quick health delivery and prompt referrals to major hospitals in complicated situations.


The Assembly man for the area , Hon. Evans Anglieraamwine also thanked the MP for providing such a magnificent health facility in his electoral area. He expressed his joy and indicated that the facility will help to reduce the numerous challenges in the area as there would be close contact and education from  health personnels.


The chief of Baazu on behalf of his people expressed his excitement over the project. He promised  that the project would be well protected and maintained by the entire community. He prayed for the good health of the MP so that his area would continue to enjoy such development.


The Hon MP thanked Qatar Charity for providing funding to construct the project and promised to work with other development agencies to bring development to the people of Jirapa Municipal.
