 National.

The National president of the Nadowli-Kaleo/Daffiama Bussie Issa (DBI) student's union, Mr. Kpaamah James on Saturday 14th August 2021 during the Union's send off/handing over ceremony at the University of Education Winneba calls on the member of Parliament for the Daffiama Bussie Issa (DBI) constituency, Hon. Dr. Sebastian Sandaare, who was the guest speaker for the ceremony to aid them (national executives) of the union in executing their yearly programmes and policies.

During his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Kpaamah James enumerated some of their plans as a union for students of the constituency more especially students at the basic and senior high levels and therefore pleads on the member of Parliament to help them bring those plans to a reality.

As part of their yearly plans, he said they intend to do a voluntary teaching exercise for basic school students in the constituency so as to help improve academic excellence in the constituency. He also mentioned that, they intend organizing workshop for students on choosing their course of studies in the higher level which according to him is called "career guidance". Among their plans mentioned also were, radio education, life after school seminar and operation "know your health status" however, according to him, they alone can not execute those plans without any external support.

He concluded his speech by entreating all members of the union to always have patience with one another and try to always cope well with the leaders so as to promote unity and harmony among members of the union.

  1. Thank you Mr. President for projecting these life transforming policies before our all supportive member of Parliament.
Allow me to rejoin that, we also look up to having a scheme that can support and sponsor intelligent and willing students to pursue professional careers on conditions of returning to uplift our District.
Daddy, as I call you, my beloved Representative in the House of Decisions of Ghana, Hon. Dr. Sandaare, in collaboration with other sister Districts, help us with a scholarship scheme that will sponsor an appreciable number of SHS, UNDERGRADUATES, and POST-GRADUATION students who will return to work strictly within our Districts for the development of our very selves. With all due respect to all professions, majority are all choosing college of education and Nursing colleges because that's what the family can manage, even when our intellectual capacities can explore far advanced Disciplines.
I believe, with a well structured scheme, we can build a solid strong human resource within the District and region that will put us in much influencing institutions that will bring direct development to the many undeveloped communities of DBI and beyond.
God Bless you Daddy, for you are a hope salvaging this generation. One of your Son's, John Erebakyere, UCC.
