NDC CADERS CORPS HELD A MINI CONFERENCE IN NADOWLI-KALEO
On August 5th 2021, NDC CADETS held a meeting at Nadowli to discuss the way forward in revamping NDC to come to power in 2024. Representatives from Jirapa, Daffiama, Bussie, Issa and Nadowli-Kaleo came together to deliberate on a roadmap to reorganizing the Party and the Youth towards 2024.
According to Micheal Naguma who in his welcome address, stated the purpose of the meeting, the Cadets aim at encouraging the old folks not to relent but continue to help the youth understand the ideological principles of the party as part of the reorganization of the party.
In the round table discussion, they used the opportunity to call on the NDC fraternity to continue to uphold the principle of probity and accountability in that regards.
They again bemoaned the way the state is currently being governed as issues of insecurity, political discrimination, corruption and general despondency of state actors have now become a norm.
According to them, all must contribute to the process in bringing the NDC to power for which reason, they have started discussions across the region to awaken the political consciousness of the party to unite strongly towards victory.
On same day, similar meetings were held at Wa, Nandom and Tumu suggesting that the CADETS of the party are out for business in bringing NDC to power come 2024.
They did indicate that a comprehensive report will be compiled cataloguing suggestions to party leadership on how to make the party more formidable.
The key speakers and organizers included; Hon Fedelis Zumakpee, former District Chief Executive for Daffiama, Bussie, Issa and a cadet, Comrade Micheal Naguma, a senior cadet from Nadowli/Kaleo constutuency, and Comrade Bondiyiri popularly called Adondon, from Nadowli/Kaleo constituency who chaired this maiden mini conference.
