DBI: MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT DONATES STREET LIGHTS AND ACCESSORIES TO HEALTH AND EDUCATION DIRECTORATES
Member of Parliament (MP) for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Constituency in the Upper West Region Hon Dr. Sebastian N Sandaare has donated street lights and accessories worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to the district education office and some health facilities in his constituency.
The donation is in fulfillment of a request from the district director of education through the paramount chief of Daffiama.
The items were donated by the constituency Youth organizer, Mr. Desmond Tampuori on behalf of the member of parliament. Mr. Desmond Tampuori used the opportunity to acquaint the member of parliament with challenges facing the institutions within the catchment area and has pledged an unflinching commitment to supporting the schools in whichever ways to address the challenges. According to him, every step possible will be taken to protect and safeguard the image of the schools as the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa district is known as the citadel of education in the region.
The items were received on behalf of the district director of education. Those who received the items on behalf of the director could not hide their joy for the MP’s decision to include them in his plans. They thanked the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa lawmaker and pledged their unflinching support for him as they laid bare some of the teething problems confronting the sector in the district. They expressed the high hope that, once the member of parliament has remembered them in his scheme of things, they have no reason to doubt the fulfillment of any promise given them.
