BUSSIE EAST ASSEMBLY MEMBER DONATES MICROPHONES TO CHURCH.
The Assembly Member for the Bussie East Electoral Area, Hon Evans Naa Gandibuu, yesterday donated a set of classic microphones to the St. Framcis Church of Asisi, Roman Catholic Church, in Bussie.
The young Assembly Member has occupied a niche when it comes to working and associating with his people.
You would recall that few months ago, he donated zinc for the roofing of a school block whose roof was ripped off.
Again, some few weeks a ago, he donated street lights bulbs to the Bussie Health Center to improve visibility at night.
Speaking to straigtnews after the donation, yesterday, he says " it is God who gives us the strength and directions to leave and we must always remember to go back and thank him and ask for more guidance". Hon Evans Naa Gandiibu is an avowed catholic himself.
He bemoaned a number of developmental challenges in the area and that he remains committed to leading the advocacy and resource mobilization to fix some of the issues. He particularly demonstrated his disappoinment at the current state of the Bussie Health Center. According to him, the space is mot enough to contain patients and that the beds there are inadequate and people are sometimes admitted on chairs or on the bare floor. This he said is unacceptable and called on the District Assembly to pay attention to the plight od the people in his electoral area.
He explained that the pressure on the Bussie Health Center is partly because the Kamaheguu CHPs has virtually been abandoned and even upon several complains, leadership has since not taken any proactive steps to amaliorate the suffering of the people.
He was however optimistic that there is light at the end of the tunnel as he shall continue to appeal to stakeholders to put smile on the faces of his people.
