The outstanding volleyball winners of the Upper West region, "Spring Fingers" volleyball club murders the "legends" volleyball club which comprises of past volleyball players of the club in a volleyball match.
As part of the usual organizations of friendly games and tournaments by the spring fingers volleyball club, there was a volleyball match on Sunday 7th November 2021 between the Spring Fingers volleyball club and the Legends team in Nadowli at the spring fingers volleyball court with which Spring Fingers emerges victorious beating the legend 4:1 after a though five round games.
The Spring Fingers volleyball club has again displayed their overwhelming volleyball talents in the match. The team is made up of young energetic youth in Nadowli, the capital of the Nadowli-Kaleo district. The team has over the weeks involved in numerous tournaments with which they mostly emerge winners.
Even though the game was very competitive, it became a cool chop for the Spring Fingers volleyball club since they do not allow balls to bounce in their court. This has over the years been their playing strategy and a normal issue of emerging winners in their competitions.
The golden cup winners, Springs Fingers serves as the only source of entertainment in the Nadowli-Kaleo district and beyond since they organize numerous volleyball matches almost every week with massive turn up by the youth of the district.
Through the hard work of their coach, Mr. Moses Sumbobo, a young man from the district with support of some philanthropists, the team has been able to move outside the district to compete with other volleyball clubs. They have had several tournaments with other volleyball clubs across the Upper West region with which they mostly emerge winners in most of the games. For instance their last game with Lawra town team ended with 4-1 win against the Lawra town team.
The team indeed can do better however they are still several issues they need to iron out so we entreat stakeholders to invest in the team to help them triumph and soar higher than they are now.
