20 years old Mabel Pande emerges female winner in Tour De Charikpong cycling race.

 



 20 year old lady, Mabel Pande, from Yaga a suburb of Babile who participated in the 7th edition of Tour de Charikpong, a community cycling fan programme, organized by Azumah Resources Limited which took place in Nadowli on the 18th of December 2021 has been crowned female winner in the cycling race. 


A total of 129 individuals from eight selected communities participated in the cycling race with which 75 of them are males and the remaining 54 being females. Mabel Pande came first among the 54 females who participated in the race.


Talking to StraightNews, the Junior High School one student Mabel, expressed her excitement over her victory in the competition. She received a 43 inches flat screen television and a special award of fridge from the organizers, Azumah Resources Limited.


Others who participated in the cycling race and triumphed equally received numerous awards.


The second person among the ladies received a fridge whilst the third lady received a 32 inches flat screen television. Some other female participants received phones whilst others had bicycles.


In the males category, 10th to 20th positions got knapsack sprayers each then people who had from 4th to 9th positions received a bicycle each. 


The third male in the race went home with a 32 inches flat screen television, second position received a fridge then the one who emerged first, by name, Dapilaah Daniel also from Yaga got a 43 inches flat screen television.

I'm the community based awards, Yaga community emerged first and received a whooping sum of Gh¢1,500, Yiziiri community came second and received an amount of Gh¢1,000 whilst the third community, Sampina received Gh¢500.


The programme ended on a happy note with all contestants going home with gifts from the organizers.

Lambussie Young Stars Volleyball Club Smashes Host Team to be Crowned Champions in Azumah Volleyball Tournament
