Nadowli spring fingers volleyball team emerge winners in a volleyball galla organized by Hon. Anthony M. Sumah

 


The member of Parliament for Nadowli-Kaleo constituency, in a quest to foster unity among his constituents, organized a volleyball galla which took place on Saturday 11th December 2021 in Nadowli, the district capital with which Nadowli Spring Fingers volleyball club emerged winners of the tournament.


Seven selected communities participated in the tournament. The communities included, Nadowli, Kaleo, Sombo, Sankana, Charikpong, Nanville and Takpo. After the tournament, Nadowli Spring Fingers were crowned champions. The positions after the tournament are as follows,

Nadowli         1st

Sankana         2nd

Kaleo              3rd

Sombo           4th

Takpo             5th

Charikpong    6th

Nanville          7th


Awards

Nadowli Spring Fingers being the overall winners won a gold trophy, gold medals, a volleyball and a set of jersey. 

Sankana which became second received silver medals, a volleyball and a set of jersey

The third team, Kaleo received bronze medals, a volleyball and a set of jersey whilst the rest of the teams thus Sombo, Takpo, Charikpong and Nanville received a volleyball each.


On the contrary, Spring Fingers volleyball girls team lost to Charikpong girls after a long and competitive game between the two teams. Whilst Charikpong girls received a volleyball and a set of jersey for beating spring fingers girls, spring fingers girls on the other hand received a volleyball.


The Law Maker who was present congratulated all the participants and wished those who could not win the all the best next time. He also entreated the players to train when they return to their various homes so that next time they can also strive hard to win.
