DBI: Hon Sabastian Sandaare Prays With Muslim Constituents At Bussie To Mark Eid ul-Fitr

 


The Member of Parliament for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa, Hon Sebastian Sandaare was in Bussie earlier today to pray with Muslim constituents 

Speaking to the congregation after the prayers, the MP thanked Almighty Allah for the lives of constituents and made a clarion call on all Muslim communities in the constituency to continue to pray for the peace and unity of the constituency. 

He added that Christians, Muslims and Traditionalists are all one and must live together and foster development in the constituency. 

He donated some assorted drinks and 500.00 cash to the  congregation for refreshment.

The Member of Parliament was accompanied by the constituency Chairman, Chairman Muoh Samba, Boniface Tienaa, a constituency executive member, Peter Tabiasinaa, the constituency treasurer, Evans Naa Gandiibu, the deputy communication officer, Gilbert Zuyeri, deputy constituency organizer and a score of zonal and branch executives.

Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the most important festivals for Muslims all over the globe. The day marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, in which Muslims observe fast from dusk to dawn. The month-long fasting, which is considered to be one the sternest one, ends on the eve of Eid after sighting the first crescent of the new moon.

Yesterday, 2nd May, 2022, some of the sets ended the Ramadan with prayers while others gathered today to mark the Eid. 

Hundreds gathered in Bussie, in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa to have their to observe the Eid prayers today.
