Hon. Dr. Sebastian Sandaare gives a touching Sallah message to his Muslim constituents

 


The Member of Parliament for the Daffiama Bussie Issa constituency, Hon. Dr. Sebastian Sandaare gives out a touching Sallah message to all Muslims in his constituency.


In a release sighted by StraightNews and dated 9th July, 2022, Hon. Sebastian Sandaare tells his constituents that he is glad to be their representative in Parliament and also recounts the historical background behind the celebration of Eid-Ul-Adha. He then encourages all Muslims in his constituency that, they should through this feast continue to show everlasting love to one another as constituents as well as pray for guidance and wisdom in this economic crisis of the country. 


The lawmaker also elaborated some significance of the festival, Eid-Ul-Adha saying that, besides the religious importance, the festival also helps to foster unity among people in times of joy and pain.


He again promised his constituents that he will continue to work hand in hand with them so as to improve development in the constituency 


He concluded by wishing all Muslims of his constituency a Happy Eid-Ul-Adha and also pray to Allah for strength in all their activities.

My warm greetings to all constituents of Daffiama, Bussie, Issa, especially my lovely Muslim brothers and sisters. 


I feel privileged as your representative in parliament to join you in the celebration of this year's Eid al-Adha. Indeed, the essence of this important religious feast is to remember and emulate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to Allah's command. 


Apart from the religious significance in this festival, there are several important social themes embedded in the commemoration, that can help us enhance our social coexistence as one people, united in our joy and pain.


I encourage you to; continue to show love and compassion for one another, be generous to one another and continue to pray and thank Allah for the little things he has done for us even as we commit the numerous social, political and economic challenges of this country into the hands of Allah. Let's pray for his wisdom and guidance in these trying times.


I will continue to collaborate and work with you to advance the development of our constituency and your welfare. May Allah grant us more strength in this journey.


I wish you all a happy Eid al-Adha.

Lambussie Young Stars Volleyball Club Smashes Host Team to be Crowned Champions in Azumah Volleyball Tournament
