Newly Formed Coalition To Demonstrate In Demand Of Justice For Slain Lawyer Badombie Richard



A newly formed non political coalition by name "Coalition For Justice for Lawyer Richard Badombie" is set to embark on its maiden demonstration on the streets of Jirapa to demand justice for the outspoken lawyer who was gunned down by unknown assailants somewhere in May, 2022.


The demonstration is advertised to take place on Wednesday, 6yh July, 2022 in the morning at 9:00am.


In a social message shared by the organizers, they are inviting the general public to join this peaceful demonstration.


Below is the full message.


"Solidarity! As part of efforts to seek justice for slain lawyer Richard Badombie (Former Assembly member for Kuncheni Electoral Area) and others, a non-political coalition has been formed . It is called Coalition For Justice for Lawyer Richard Badombie.


On Wednesday 6th July, 2022, members of the Coalition will stage a peaceful demonstration through the principal streets of Jirapa to publicly register our displeasure, pains and worry over the gruesome murder visited on Lawyer Richard Badombie and others from Jirapa.


Time is 9:00am prompt and venue is the Space at the Jirapa weekly market (Near the Office of the Ghana National Fire Service).


Dress code: Any decent wear, black or red.
