HON ABDUL-RASHID IDDRISU NUGS PRESIDENT HOPEFUL AAMUSTED KUMASI CAMPUS


 

On 3rd August, 2022 Hon Abdul- Rashid Iddrisu Submitted his nominations form to the electoral commission of AAMUSTED,ahead of 2022 NUGS Presidential Election.


Mr Abdul-Rashid Iddrisu has however declared his intention to contest the position of National Union of Ghana Student (NUGS) Presidential Slot for the period 2022/2023 academic year at AAMUSTED Kumasi campus.


Hon Abdul-Rashid Iddrisu is a professional Teacher from the Northern part of Ghana precisely North East Region Nagboo. Now a level 200 construction student at AAMUSTED Kumasi campus.

He is best known by his peers as Hon Member and has played so many roles as student leader from basic level to Tertiary Level. 


He started his elementary Education in Guakudow in the west mamprusi municipality of the North east region in the year 2002 later moved to Nagboo in the East Mamprusi Municipality in the year 2004 where he continued his elementary Education. At  primary four, he was promoted to primary six and became a section leader. In the year 2006/2007 he was promoted to Nagboo JHS where he became Senior Prefect and 2nd runner up in a quiz Organized by NCCE.


He became the best candidate in 2010 BECE examination at Nagboo JHS and was  placed at Walewale Senior High Technical school, he represented the school on regional interschool debate, National Leadership Conference organized by American peace corps volunteers where he Obtain excellence certificate, Hon member became a member of food committee, a class Prefect, & Techsa Vice president at that period.


Aside his numerous roles played, he has also done several research work for other institution just to mention a few.

University of Cape Cost action research as part of the fulfilment to Obtained Diploma in basic education, Street Children project Kumasi, Ghana statistical service, National Household registry exercise and many others.


Having worked with other institution as a student leader, He became GMSA financial Secretary Bagabaga college of Education, SRC PRO Bagabaga college of Education,TLI Organizing Secretary and many others.

He has also worked as Presiding Officer for Electoral Commission of Ghana, Vice President National Mamprugu Student Union Ghana and Research Officer for North East Students Union, Aamusted Kumasi.


Hon Abdul - Rashid Iddrisu a k a Hon Member is ready to serve the people of Aamusted and not to be served in running the affairs of NUGS on Campus with the leadership experience gained and need your support come September.


NUGS election on campus has been one of the most exciting one every student should have interest in and Hon Abdul - Rashid Iddrisu is out to serve the people of Aamusted, Ghana and beyond the continent.

Lambussie Young Stars Volleyball Club Smashes Host Team to be Crowned Champions in Azumah Volleyball Tournament
