Alhaji Adams Randy Files Nomination For The Position Of Upper West Regional Chairman

A business mogul and party financier, Alhaji Adams Randy has successfully filed his nomination forms in readiness to run for the position of the Upper West Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress.

He was accompanied by a score of party supporters coming from different parts of the region, with majority being the party youth.

Speaking to the media after the filing of the nomination forms, he promised the rank and file of the party that he will engage in politics of issues, having in mind that the party needs to be solidly united after the internal contest. He added that the interest of the party is supreme and cannot be sacrificed for personal interest. To him, he is the Unifier that the party can rely on to rally everybody on board to make the party in the Upper West Region more formidable.

"We have a power to win and not just a position to occupy and so the ultimate of this agenda is to bring the NDC into power to salvage the suffering of the masses here in the region and beyond." He stated.

He therefore called on all contenders to think beyond the internal contest in the overall interest of the NDC.

Alhaji Randy Adams is contesting the regional chairmanship slot for the first time and will be battling it out with the incumbent chairman, Chairman Bunas who also filed his nomination forms the previous day. Many political watchers anticipate a keen contest between the two stalwarts who have both contributed to the growth of the party in the region.
