A Youth Group Of Nadowli-Kaleo Raises Funds to Purchase Nomination form for Hon. Anthony M. Sumah



A group of youth from the Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency which calls itself "Volunteers of Anthony Mwinkaara Sumah" (VAMS), has rallied its support to Hon. Anthony M. Sumah by raising a sum of GHC 5000.00 to purchase a nomination form for him to contest this year's parliamentary primaries.

At a press briefing on Sunday February 12, 2023, at Nadowli, district capital of the Nadowli-Kaleo District, the group revealed that the reason for the endorsement is to declare their satisfaction for his works as a Member of Parliament and to ask him to continue to serve the good people of Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency. 

Enumerating some of the works of the MP, Jugah Rudolf who read the press statement on behalf of the group says the Member of Parliament has contributed massively and positively to youth development in the constituency by initiating a skill training and entrepreneurship program for over 150 youth of the constituency of which these individuals are provided with equipments and enrollment fees to engage in apprenticeship programs such as weaving, tayloring, welding and among others.

Also with education, they indicated that, the "Workaholic MP" as he is often referred to sponsored a huge number students at various levels of their education as well as provided furniture and other learning equipments to schools in the constituency.

VAMS again stated that, Hon. Anthony Sumah also ensured unity through sports by organizing an inter community galla, he also provided a number of street bulbs and among other works. The group however stated that regardless their endorsement of the Member of Parliament, any individual who wishes to contest in the upcoming primaries is not refrained from contesting as far as democracy is concerned but they are going to work tirelessly in seeing to the victory of Hon. Anthony Sumah.

On the sideline, some of the beneficiaries of the Skill Training and Entrepreneurship Program told the reporter for Village Boy From DBI TV that the Law Maker has impacted their lives greatly through the skill training program because they were jobless but now have handwork. "He is the messiah who has been sent to safe us" one of them added. They therefore called on their fellow constituents to rally behind Hon. Anthony Sumah come 2024 so that he will continue his good works for the constituency.

Lambussie Young Stars Volleyball Club Smashes Host Team to be Crowned Champions in Azumah Volleyball Tournament
