DEPUTY NATIONAL COMMUNICATION OFFICER COMMISERATES WITH THE PEOPLE OF NADOWLI/KALEO CONSTITUENCY

 


Comrade Malik Basintale, the Deputy National Communication Officer  on Sunday paid  a visit to the Upper West Region.

The purpose of the visit was to commiserate with the people of Nadowli/Kaleo constituency on the death of Nasirudeen Shaibu, Deputy Constituency Communication officer. Nasideen met his untimely death on 3rd August, 2023 and was interred according to Islamic practice the following day. The "ADUA" was however scheduled  for Sunday, 13th August, 2023. 

He was accompanied to the constituency by  the Regional Communication Officer together with some constituency communication officers. Also present were the Member of Parliament, Hon. Anthony Sumah and Executives of the Nadowli/Kaleo Constituency.

Comrade Malik Basintale conveyed the condolences of the National  Communication Bureau and the National Executive Committee of the Party (NDC) to the bereaved family as well as the people of Nadowli/Kaleo Constituency.

Whilst at the funeral grounds, he used the opportunity  to encourage party faithfuls who were present to work harder to ensure  victory in the up coming 2024 General elections. 

The Member of Parliament for the Constituency,  Hon. Anthony Sumah in his speech also urged  party folks to continuously pursue unity and cohesion  amongst party members at all materials times and not only in difficult times.

Upon return to Wa town, the DNCO  used the opportunity to interact with the Regional Media Monitors and the various Constituency  Communication Officers to obtain first hand information on their operations in the communication front. During the interactions, he pledged his unflinching support and that of his Boss, Comrade Sammy Gyamfi to the communications outfits who on daily basis are braving the odds to defend the course of the time.

Lambussie Young Stars Volleyball Club Smashes Host Team to be Crowned Champions in Azumah Volleyball Tournament
