WHEN WOULD THE PUNGENT DISHONESTY, AND HYPOCRITICAL TRIBAL-RELIGIOUS PARTISAN BIGOTRY STOP IN GHANA?

 

i) Prolly, after president  Nana Addo-Bawumia led NPP exit and or when His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama isn't longer in active politics!

Where were the so-called National Peace Council(NPC) and all the sudden-peace-loving-cymbals when Dr. Bawumia condescendingly labelled His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama as " Mallam John" on a very national Islamic program heralded by our serene and venerated national chief Imam?

Dr. Bawumia(the so-called religious tolerant and unifier) saw it prudent to denigrate president JM before Muslim congregation and in an insidious and diabolical way, campaigned to Muslims, that JM isn't one of them and he's only forcing to mimic them(Muslims) with '2/4' Qu'ran recitation(that was the import of his infantile behavior and body language). 

NO, and i repeat, NO sensitive and wise so-called Muslim-religious-tolerant and unifier veep would have used such a high national, and religious platform to make mockery and accompanied same with a palpable, and irritating guffaw of an equally high leader of repute and from a different  religion with brobdingnagian followers.

ii) Dr. Bawumia threw every caution, maturity and discernment to the wind and went the lowest of low because, during the 2016 elections, he waged a very divisive religious campaign before Muslims, that they should rise and vote for Nana Addo and by extension him because he is a muslim(as if he is the first muslim veep this country was going to have) and that he were going to REPRESENT their(muslimi) INTEREST, and he got away with it because, the then sitting president(JM) weren't a potentate, thus interested in whipping institutions and individuals with an iron-cane to issue statements and or go out in his support.

iii) When Dr. Bawumia, his hirelings and consultants started erecting the smoke screen wall around him as a religious unifier and an interfaith leader, how many of you so-called grey hair (wo)men cautioned him and his lickspittles, that Ghana have had many leaders who were all-religious-inclusive and so he and his collaborators must desist from mounting him[self] as one coming to unify us religiously, when we have a zilch religious chaos/tension or even a mere public fracas from all the three scores and over years from independence!?

Same Dr. Bawumia, during the 2016 elections, dangerously campaigned to the Muslim community, that, for many years, the Ghana's presidency has been BIASED against Muslims(but thankfully, majority of Muslims saw and adequately read his chameleonic character and duplicitousness, thus never wage war against their Christian brethren). Even though this was a walking and a very, very lethal lie, we never had any grey-hair [wo]man rebuked him covertly or overtly for basically inciting our Muslim brethren against their Christians brethren. He had an all field day!!!

iv) Why, in this country, we have had former president J.A Kufuor came with a Northern-Muslim vice, and we never heard all these malodorous religious fatuousness!

In 2004, the NDC presented a Northern-Muslim running mate, Alhaji Mumuni and we never heard a decibel of the ugly religious cacophony!

Even, in this country, we have had all-Southerners  and all-Christians helmed our presidency and this country were more together and more united without a religious qualm! 

Hence, the question many discerning Ghanaians and watchers must be asking is, why Dr. Bawumia is notoriously arrow-heading this religious asininity/insanity!?

As for some people and certain institutions, their nose only goes up when an NDC (wo)man says something but when it comes to the Nana Addo-Bawumia led NPP, they don't only ostensibly suffers aphasia, but mechanical compacted wax and opaque scales in their ears and eyes respectively!

v) If the outright and patent mockery of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama by Dr. Bawumia were acceptable and not viewed as RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY, then, Hon. Samuel Nartey George's serve of Dr Bawumia's dose(befitting description) can't be viewed as religious bigotry. 

The presence of Dr. Bawumia in our body politics has always thunderously potent a scavenging danger to our peace, stability and ethno-religious diversity coexistence because, he took the politics of insults, name calling, mudslinging and ethno-religious politics to unacceptable and uncontrollable peak on national stages and was extolled and idolized in the name of being a PhD Economist.

The NPP and its surogates occupying institutions, must know, that the era of 2016 where the NDC allowed every Tom, Dick and Harry, ie Samira Bawumia etc to virtually get away with everything and anything on JM, NDC-bigwigs and by extension the NDC is long gone!

The NDC led by our visionary-nation-builder, His Excellency President John Mahama, is all ready to engage the good people of Ghana on a sane  campaign of equanimity, anchor on; TRACK RECORD, VISION, TRUSTWORTHINESS, HONESTY, PRINCIPLE, SOUND-NATION-BUILDING POLICY(IES), CREDIBILITY, etc but  as once succinctly said by our(NDC) brilliant and versatile Legal Director- Hon. Edudzi Kudzo Tameklo Esq, you go low, we go lower!

No body is more Ghanaian than the other in this country of ours.

After all, what's good for the goose is equally good for the gander!
