U/W/R: ASTONISHING AS UEW FRENCH AND LINGUISTICS GRADUATE SELLS SECOND HAND CLOTHES
Many were thrown into astonishment on Monday 27th, May 2024 at the Nadowli Market, where a graduate from the University of Education Winneba (UEW) was spotted selling Second-hand clothes at the market square as means of survival imidst the country's hard economic situation.
Kuulaler B Ernest who is known by his Pears as PDK Le griot, a Poet, batched a Second Class Upper in French and Linguistic Education from the University of Education, Winneba and is currently doing his mandatory National Service at Queen of Peace Senior High School, Nadowli in the Upper West region, to be precise.
The young gentleman who also doubles as the President for the National Service Personnel Association, NASPA in the District was spotted by StraightnewsGh exhibiting his marketing prowess at the Nadowli general market with his second hand clothes also known as "Broni Wawu".
Speaking to StraightnewsGh Pdk Le Griot cries out in pain about the economic hardships he is encountering as a graduate and service personnel. How difficult it is sometimes to afford three square meals in a day because the only source of earning money as a graduate is the Allowance which is in Arrears.
Le Griot who is also a poet opted out to go into selling second-hand clothes after his school activities that would earn him something for survival rather than depending on NSS "Alawa" for survival.
Kuulaler B Ernest calls on other benevolent bodies to support his trade to enable him order more second-hand clothes such that he can also expand the business and employ other people. He also encouraged other graduates not to only depend on government to provide jobs for them instead they should be innovative.
