VAMS Congratulates Hon. Anthony Sumah on His Impressive Electoral Performance.


The Volunteers for Anthony Mwinkaara Sumah (VAMS) a vibrant political group within the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Anthony Mwinkaara Sumah, Member of Parliament for the Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency.


VAMS which was formed in 2020, aims to promote the NDC's ideals and values, while also engaging in community development activities. Some notable initiatives include clean-up exercises at various health centers in the District.


The group's congratulatory message comes on the heels of Hon. Sumah's impressive electoral performance, which saw him increase his margin from 66% in 2020 to 81% in 2024. This achievement is attributed to his tireless effort in bringing development projects to the constituency, including skill training program, educational support for tertiary students, health intervention, and more.


As a dedicated public servant, Hon Sumah has demonstrated his commitment to improving the lives of his constituents. 

VAMS's congratulatory message is a testament to the group's appreciation for his hard work and dedication.

DCE Donates to Fian KG & Primary, Breaks Ground for New Block

The District Chief Executive for Daffiama, Bussie, Issa,  Hon. James Wor , has distributed school uniforms and learning materials to students of Fian KG and Primary School as part of his efforts to support education in the district. The donation was made during a visit to the school, where he emphasized the importance of education and encouraged the students to take their studies seriously, noting that their future depends on their current efforts. The distribution was a sideline activity of a sod-cutting ceremony for a new KG block, a project initiated by the DCE to address the school's pressing need for more space. According to the DCE, the current KG facility is congested, and the new block is expected to provide a more conducive learning environment for the increasing number of students.
