BONO EAST REGIONAL YOUTH LEADERSHIP WELCOMES THE NEW REGIONAL MINISTER


The Leadership of the  Bono East  Regional Registered Youth Groups, Youth Parliament and Volunteers paid a courtesy call on its new Regional Minister Hon. Francis Owusu Antwi to present a Congratulatory  Message on his well-deserved appointment by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama.


 The Youth  pledged their Support, Commitment and Dedication to his unflinching Youth Development & Empowerment Vision.


 This memorable event took place  on Tuesday, 25th March 2025 at the new Regional Coordinating Council- Techiman. 

The delegation was accompanied by the  Bono East  Regional and District Secretariats of the National Youth Authority led by its head Mr. Emmanuel Ahlodza. 


The minister expressed  his profound appreciation of the gesture and urged the young people in the region to holdfast unto the authority's values of discipline, nationalism, volunteerism and public servantship for the development of their own self and that of the region as well as the country at large. He assured the young people of opening his doors at all times for more developmental and empowerment deliberations. 


The occasion was also used to encourage the youth in the region to organize themselves and register with the District, Regional and National Secretariat  of the authority as the case may be  according to the National Youth Authority Act 2016 ,Act 939  in order to take advantage of the available youth-led and youth-focused projects and programs in the country 



 Unity ls Strength.

 On behalf of the Coordinating Council, the Chief Director and the Bono East Regional Coordinating Director, Mr. Briamah  lssaka Bansitale expressed his excitement about the rapport building initiative and entreat the young people to replicate same with other departments, agencies, NGOs and Civil Society Organizations most especially their counterpart agency; YEA for  more collaborative bonds.

Community Development talk show bench of Tumpaani Radio at Nadowli in the Upper West Region has discovered that a Mitsubishi brand vehicle with registration number, GV-236-12 belonging to Nadowli/Kaleo Health Directorate in the Nadowli/Kaleo district of the Upper West Region has not been at the post for over a year and a half but could not also be found anywhere around the facility. An investigation was initiated by the team to figure out the whereabouts of the vehicle which revealed that, the vehicle was not at post. Our investigation team began the probe by confirming from the Upper West Regional transport office that the said Mitsubishi vehicle with registration number GV-236-12 was allocated to the Nadowli/Kaleo Health Directorate but could not ascertain whether the vehicle was still at post or grounded. Lambussie Young Stars Volleyball Club Smashes Host Team to be Crowned Champions in Azumah Volleyball Tournament
