As I step into this sacred responsibility, I do so on the shoulders of giants—visionary leaders, selfless mentors, loyal comrades, and beloved family members whose guidance and support have brought me to this defining moment.

Let me express my deepest appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to:

His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, whose inspiring leadership and vision for an inclusive Ghana continues to open doors for women like myself to rise and serve.

The Right Honourable Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin for his continuous advocacy for democratic growth and women’s leadership across Ghana.

The Honourable Minister for Local Government, Decentralisation, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, for the Ministry’s role in ensuring this process was fair, thorough, and dignified.

The National Chairman of the NDC, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, and his able national team for believing in my capability and endorsing my nomination.

The Managing Director (MD) Metro Mass Transport Company ( Hon. Lawyer Kale Caesar) who is a former Upper West Deputy Regional Minister and former Upper West Regional Secretary of our great party - NDC was also present. Lawyer Kale Caesar who is a political strategist did map up strategies on the subject matter and for that matter, you're duly and fully recognized.

The Upper West Regional Minister and the Regional Chairman of the NDC, for their unflinching support and strategic coordination throughout this journey.


Lawyer Abdul-Shakur, our respected State Attorney, for his professional counsel and encouragement.

Hon. Anthony Mwinkaara Sumah, our industrious Member of Parliament for Nadowli-Kaleo, for his mentorship, advocacy, and solidarity.

The Hon. Assembly Members of the Nadowli-Kaleo District Assembly and the dedicated staff of the Assembly, for your endorsement, trust, and teamwork.

The Upper West Association of Constituency Women Organizers and their Deputies, for being the wind beneath my wings—your sisterhood has been a pillar of strength.

The Upper West Regional Director of the Electoral Commission and the entire EC team, for your professionalism and impartiality in democratic processes.

All Service Commanders in the Upper West Region and those stationed within Nadowli-Kaleo, for ensuring peace, security, and coordinated development.

The Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency Executive Committee of the NDC, for your loyalty, strategy, and strong grassroots engagement.

My family—both in Kaleo and Duong, for your prayers, sacrifices, and the values you instilled in me.

Community Development talk show bench of Tumpaani Radio at Nadowli in the Upper West Region has discovered that a Mitsubishi brand vehicle with registration number, GV-236-12 belonging to Nadowli/Kaleo Health Directorate in the Nadowli/Kaleo district of the Upper West Region has not been at the post for over a year and a half but could not also be found anywhere around the facility. An investigation was initiated by the team to figure out the whereabouts of the vehicle which revealed that, the vehicle was not at post. Our investigation team began the probe by confirming from the Upper West Regional transport office that the said Mitsubishi vehicle with registration number GV-236-12 was allocated to the Nadowli/Kaleo Health Directorate but could not ascertain whether the vehicle was still at post or grounded. Lambussie Young Stars Volleyball Club Smashes Host Team to be Crowned Champions in Azumah Volleyball Tournament

In an attempt to foster unity and promote sporting activities in the Upper West Region, Azumah Resources Ghana Limited a gold exploration company located in Nadowli has organized a two-day  volleyball tournament on Saturday November 16 to Sunday November 17, 2024 at Nadowli in the Nadowli-Kaleo district of the Upper West Region of which Lambussie Young Stars emerged the overall champions after going through unbeaten in the tournament. .  The 2024 edition of the tournament happens to be the fifth edition of the tournament of which nine volleyball teams participated and they included Wa Supreme Fingers, Lawra Infinite Mercies, Jirapa Hoppers, Nadowli Spring Fingers, Wa City Stars, Wa Mighty Stars, Tumu Great Fingers and Nandom Mighty Hands.  Speaking at the closing ceremony of the tournament, Mr. Selorm Seshie, Manager of Minds Geology at Azumah Resources Ghana Limited highlighted that, the main purpose of the annual volleyball tournament is to foster good relationship amon...
