NADOWLI KALEO DISTRICT NATIONAL AMBULANCE SERVICE VEHICLE IS OUT OF COMMISSION

The Nadowli Kaleo District Ambulance Service is currently grounded due to worn-out tyres, posing a significant risk to patients in need of emergency medical care. The vehicle has been out of commission for over some months, and community members are urging authorities to intervene.

The ambulance had previously received tyres from Azumah Resources, but they are still in use three years later, highlighting the need for replacement. The community is calling on the District Assembly, the Member of Parliament, and other benevolent organizations to provide assistance.

This situation is not unique to Nadowli Kaleo, as the Upper West Region's National Ambulance Service has been facing operational challenges, including broken-down vehicles and inadequate resources.
